Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information the Karveer Warehouse Tracking system collects, why, and how it is protected. The system is operated by Karveer Fashion ("we", "us") for use by our own staff. It is not a public service and there is no public sign-up.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, work email address, role, and the warehouse steps you are assigned to. Your password is never stored; only a salted, one-way hash of it is kept.
- Activity records: each action you take in the system (receiving a parcel, completing a step, putting a step on hold or resuming it, editing or voiding an entry, adding slip lines or barcodes) is saved with your name and the time.
- Business records: bill, LR, vendor, transport, quantity and amount details, uploaded bill copies, Micro Check Slip lines and barcodes. Bill copies may contain names or contact details of vendor or transport staff.
- Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in, and one short-lived cookie carries on-screen confirmation messages between pages. Both are strictly necessary. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
- Server logs: the hosting server may record standard request information such as IP address and time of request, used for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
- To run the warehouse process: know which bill is at which step, who completed it, and what is on hold.
- To measure turnaround against planned times and prepare performance (MIS) reports for department heads and team leaders.
- To keep an audit trail of changes, and to protect the system and its data.
We process this information for employment and business purposes, as permitted under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who can see it
Signed-in staff can see warehouse entries and who completed each step. Managers and administrators can see performance reports and manage accounts. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service provider that hosts the system, under an obligation to keep it confidential, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account details are kept while you work with us. When an account is deactivated, the name stays attached to the records you created, because those records form the warehouse audit trail. Business records are kept for as long as our record-keeping and legal obligations require.
How we protect it
The system is accessed over an encrypted connection, passwords are hashed, access is limited by role, and sign-in sessions expire after 12 hours.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or raise a concern about how it is handled. Contact the Karveer Fashion warehouse administrator.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
